How does online rental work?
Online rentals are just Windows Media (.wmv) video files that you download to your
computer instead of streaming them in real-time. Each video contains an embedded license, much like a
product key you get with computer software. A licensed video file can only be played on the computer
that has obtained the license key.
When you buy a Digital Download the key is delivered during the download process and the file
is unlocked automatically. You do not have to know it, remember it, or type it in anywhere.
In most cases the presence of the license will not even be apparent unless it expires but
your Windows Media Player will occasionally ask you to back up your licenses.
When a license expires you can either extend the rental time or delete the file from your hard drive.
These Digital Downloads may be viewable on a variety of platforms. However, Titan does not provide support for non-Windows systems. Click here to check your system for compatibility.
