Video comes in like a slide show, I get sound but no picture

The most common reason for this is attempting to play a broadband clip using a wireless connection. Wireless cards deliver considerably slower bit rates than the actual DSL or Cable source they are connected to, usually only slightly more than half the speed. Your connection speed is displayed in the lower left corner of the Windows Media Player window during video playback.

If possible, connect directly to your modem or router with an Ethernet cable, or choose a clip at a slower speed. If you continue to have problems with your connection speed you might consider downloading the clips and viewing them directly off your hard drive. Viewing them this way avoids network delays entirely.

Our video is available at the following bit rates:
    56k modem
    100k WiFi (for wireless cards)*
    282k DSL*
    300k or 384k* Broadband

*Newer titles only.
