Your Microsoft DirectX™ component may be out of date
DirectX is a Windows component that allows other programs such as Windows Media Player to communicate more efficiently with your hardware, enabling higher performance in audio/visual applications. If DirectX is not up to date you may experience difficulty in playback, possibly sound but no picture, strange colors, or no playback at all. This may be true even if you have a new system.
We suggest going to the Microsoft site and downloading any upgrade patches that are available for your OS, particularly the DirectX component since that one affects to media playback. We try to provide our clips using the latest encoding from Microsoft and have found that the quality consistently gets better with each upgrade. Our videos require DirectX version 9 or better.
