License popup screen in player is nothing but junk characters
Your windows media player needs to be set to acquire licenses automatically.
- Open Windows Media Player. On the top menu click on Tools >> Options.
- Choose the Player tab.
- Be sure Connect to the Internet is checked.
- Switch to the Privacy tab.
- Be sure Acquire licenses automatically for protected content is checked.
- Choose the Security tab.
- Be sure Run Script Commands When Present is checked.
- Choose the Performance tab.
- Either set this to Detect Connection Speed or choose a connection speed of at
least 384 kbps (DSL/Cable).*
- Choose the Network tab.
- Under Streaming Protocols make sure that at least HTTP is checked. Be sure UDP is unchecked.
- The Use Ports checkbox should be unchecked.
- Under Streaming Proxy Settings make sure that at least MMS is set to auto-detect.
